Amp-Agarwal Movers (P).LTD - Terms And Conditions
1. Definitions -
Company refers to Amp-Agarwal Movers (P). LTD, the service provider under this agreement.
Customer means any individual or entity who contracts with the Company for relocation or transportation services, whether or not they are the owner of the goods being moved.
Quotation/Estimate refers to the initial non-binding cost estimate issued by the Company based on the service requirements as understood at the time.
Goods refer to the personal or commercial belongings being transported, excluding items like cash, jewelry, documents, hazardous materials, perishable goods, narcotics, fuel, live plants (unless otherwise agreed), or any prohibited or restricted items.
2. Service Scope & Limitations
All services are rendered based on mutual agreement and the scope mentioned in the accepted quotation.
Special services such as disassembly/reassembly of furniture, AC removal/fitting, or electrical work are not included unless pre-approved and quoted.
The Customer must ensure accessibility at both pickup and delivery locations. If accessibility is limited (e.g. narrow lanes, no lift, third-floor stairs), additional charges will apply.
Services are available from 9:00 AM to 9:15 PM (Mon-Sat) and 9:00 AM to 9:15 PM (Sunday). 24/7 services is available in India of call center call us on (+91-9060054001).
3. Estimates, Confirmations & Cancellations
All quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issue unless otherwise agreed.
Upon confirmation, the quotation becomes a binding contract. The Company reserves the right to revise service strategies in consultation with the Customer.
Cancellations post-confirmation result in forfeiture of advance/deposit, with no refund applicable.
For online payments, refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 30 working days, subject to the amount being credited to the Company’s account.
4. Payment Terms
Full payment is required before dispatch or packing begins, via cheque, bank transfer, or credit card (with applicable charges).
In certain cases, delivery can be allowed before full payment, subject to written agreement.
In case of non-payment, the Company reserves the right to withhold delivery until the balance is cleared.
5. Vehicle Shifting Conditions
Cars must have at least 10-15 liters of fuel to enable basic movement.
Two-wheelers must be delivered with completely empty fuel tanks.
Valid documentation must be shared, especially if the vehicle ownership name differs from the transferee.
6. Goods Handling & Exclusions
The Company is not responsible for:
Plant removals, Split pickups/deliveries (unless agreed), Crating (unless specified), Long carry or elevator charges, Govt. taxes, tolls, Octroi, Mathadi, or union fees,Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, etc.)
Items like jewelry, cash, passports, documents, or fuel-based products must not be included in the shipment.
7. Packing Material Policy
All packing materials (cartons, crates, etc.) remain the property of the Company.
If the customer wishes to retain packing materials:
Rs. 75 per carton (for local shifting) applies, or, Rs. 1500 minimum will be charged for retrieval within India All metro citys.
Prior arrangement is required if materials are to be collected later
8. Risk Coverage & Insurance
Insurance does not cover:
Government or customs confiscation
Owner-packed items,Cash, jewelry, or perishable items, Internal damages (unless external damage is visible and noted at delivery)
For coverage of electrical or mechanical faults (excluding vehicles), an additional 3% premium is required. Damaged goods must be inspected and reported on the same day. All claims are handled by third-party insurers, not directly by the Company. Goods not insured are considered self-insured by the Customer.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Ensure all permissions are taken from housing societies.
Pay all lift, entry/exit, parking, and society usage charges directly.
Drain geysers and remove water from appliances before packing.
Provide transit bolts for front-loading washing machines.
Declare true value of all goods at the time of packing. Any undeclared value will be considered as zero in risk coverage.
10. Storage & Delays
If your new location is not ready, please inform in advance to arrange storage at our warehouse (charges applicable).
We require a minimum of 3 days’ notice for mobilization and resource planning.
Any variation in volume post-packing will result in revision of rates accordingly.

Important Reminders
Third-party services (AC installation, electricals) can be arranged upon request at extra cost.
Plants, if accepted, are transported entirely at the Customer’s risk.
Only empty gas cylinders should be handed over.
Cartons and packing materials must be returned immediately post-unpacking unless agreed otherwise.
